Founded in 1978, this sports facility has always been a point of reference for the city of Lecce and its surrounding area. With a wide range of facilities and infrastructure, it is one of the city's main sports facilities, specializing primarily in soccer but capable of satisfying a variety of sporting and recreational needs.
The site covers approximately 5 hectares, with an internal coverage of approximately 1,500 square meters. There are 11 soccer fields of varying sizes and surfaces, suitable for a variety of activities. One main synthetic grass pitch is ideal for matches in all weather conditions. One five-a-side pitch is made of synthetic turf and two are clay. One 11-a-side pitch is used for training by major teams. Four seven-a-side soccer fields are perfect for tournaments and training sessions, and two eight-a-side soccer fields are available for specialized soccer activities.
Services offered: 27 changing rooms divided into various configurations to meet the needs of all users; 12 changing rooms with 6 showers each; 8 changing rooms with 5 showers each; 3 changing rooms with 10 showers each; a refreshment area where athletes and visitors can relax with food and drinks; a space equipped for meetings, technical briefings, press conferences, and organizational meetings; a gym equipped with a bathroom and shower; an administrative office; a storage room with a diesel boiler and a cistern, used for sports equipment and technical materials; heating via 16 solar panels for water, with a total capacity of 300 liters; a cesspool and an artesian well with the option of water and sewer connections. The entire facility is fenced, ensuring security and privacy.
Since 2000, the facility has become and continues to be a sports development hub for numerous soccer schools. It regularly hosts local and regional championships, amateur tournaments, and various sporting events. It organizes training and development programs for young soccer players, promoting sport as a fundamental element for growth and well-being. Since 1978, this facility has been more than just a place for soccer practice, but a true community center for the Lecce community and surrounding area. Fondata nel 1978, questa struttura sportiva è da sempre un punto di riferimento per la città di Lecce ed il suo hinterland. Con un'ampia offerta e infrastrutture, è una delle principali realtà sportive della città, specializzata principalmente nel calcio ma capace di soddisfare molteplici esigenze sportive e ricreative.
Il lotto occupa circa 5 ettari, con una copertura interna di circa 1500 mq. Servizi offerti: 27 spogliatoi divisi in diverse configurazioni per soddisfare le esigenze di tutti gli utenti; 12 spogliatoi con 6 docce ciascuno; 8 spogliatoi con 5 docce ciascuno; 3 spogliatoi con 10 docce ciascuno; punto ristoro dedicato alla ristorazione, dove atleti e visitatori possono rilassarsi con cibi e bevande; spazio attrezzato per incontri, briefing tecnici, conferenze stampa e riunioni organizzative; palestra attrezzata con bagno e doccia; ufficio amministrativo; deposito-magazzino con caldaia a gasolio e cisterna, utilizzato per l'attrezzatura sportiva e materiale tecnico; riscaldamento attraverso 16 pannelli solari per l'acqua, con capacità totale di 300lt; pozzo nero e pozzo artesiano con possibilità di allaccio aqp e fognatura. L'intera struttura è recintata, garantendo sicurezza e privacy.
Dal 2000 ad oggi, la struttura è diventata e continua ad essere un punto di sviluppo sportivo per numerose scuole di calcio. Ospita regolarmente campionati locali e regionali, tornei amatoriali e manifestazioni sportive di vario genere. Organizza programmi di allenamento e sviluppo per giovani calciatori, promuovendo la sport come elemento fondamentale per la crescita ed il benessere. Dal 1978 questa struttura non è solo un luogo per la pratica del calcio, ma un vero e proprio centro di aggregazione per la comunità di Lecce e dintorni.
